An artist creates realistic paintings using ten brushes at once and said he'll never go back to using one again. <br /><br />Serge Feeleenger, 39, straps one paintbrush to each finger to paint and he says it has forever changed his perception of art. <br /><br />According to Serge, from Minsk, Belarus, the technique helps him paint better - both in his technique and his outlook.<br /><br />By using multiple brushes he can use them to interact with each other and do multiple things without pausing in between. <br /><br />Serge says it has also expanded the way he sees his art and helps him visualise his ideas more effectively. <br /><br />He said: "You can immediately mix the desired shades on the canvas when brushes interact. <br /><br />"You can slide one brush across the canvas while using other brushes to remove and mix some of the paint in a different direction.<br /><br />"I noticed that I began to look more broadly at the very concept of light and colour. <br /><br />"It’s as if the ten-brush technique stimulates those hemispheres of the brain that are responsible for inspiration."<br /><br />The artist decided to use multiple brushes in 2011 when he realized he didn't need to hold his extra brushes uselessly. <br /><br />He started with two and kept adding extra brushes until he ended up running out of fingers. <br /><br />He said: "One day when I was painting a picture. I thought about why I was holding brushes with different colours in one hand and I paint with only one brush?<br /><br />"First I tried two brushes on two fingers then I tried to use five and I ended up with 10."<br /><br />Serge is also a musician and part of his inspiration came from the way musicians use their whole hands to play.<br /><br />Serge paints in a style he calls "quantum realism" and draws his inspiration from the supernatural and the concept of alchemy.<br /><br />He said: "I am very inspired by Quantum Physics. People sometimes call my style Quantum Realism and I completely agree with this. I also like Alchemy."<br /><br />When he first began sharing videos of his method online, Serge said he received a lot of hate, but also much support from other artists. <br /><br />He said: "At first, when I first started painting with 10 brushes, sometimes people laughed and wrote offensive comments. <br /><br />"The pleasant thing was that professional artists, on the contrary, always treated me with respect and interest."
