A car smashed into the barriers on the corner of South Street and Union Road in Farnham town centre on Thursday evening after hitting a patch of black ice.<br />No-one was hurt in the incident, including the male driver of the stricken white VW Golf, which happened at around 10pm on January 18 in sub zero temperatures.<br />The crash happened on the corner of South Street and Union Road, opposite the building being converted into a doctors' surgery to accommodate the relocated Downing Street Surgery.<br />The Met Office is forecasting a sunny day with temperatures rising to a high of around four degrees C after a frosty start. Temperatures will dip again this evening, dipping as low as minus-two degrees C overnight.
