SWSMdoordash - By Leo Black<br /><br />A police officer finished a food delivery for a DoorDash driver after she was injured in a crash.<br /><br />Officer Anthony Johnson from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department in Indiana, USA, offered to finish the delivery after attending the collision.<br /><br />He completed the delivery 43 minutes later.<br /><br />In a video released by the police department, officer Johnson can be seen handing the food to a very bewildered and thankful customer.<br /><br />He can be heard saying: "Your driver, she was involved in a car accident. It's probably cold." <br /><br />He added: "I told her I would deliver it for her. I went to the wrong house at first and luckily they were honest with me.<br /><br />"I just wanted to make sure it got to you."<br /><br />The DoorDash driver was taken to hospital to be treated for chest and hand pain.<br /><br />The incident happened on December 15, 2023.<br /><br />ENDS
