Queenslanders are being warned to prepare for twin disasters. A tropical cyclone then widespread flooding in what could be a long-lasting emergency. A tropical low in the coral sea is expected to reach cyclone strength overnight or early tomorrow, likely crossing the coast on Thursday night, somewhere between Cardwell and Airlie beach.
