AWESOME HORN EFFECTS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO! INCREDIBLE K5LAR24! <br /><br />Our final catch of the day at Lightfoot: a westbound empty VAPX train with an AC44CW and an SD70MAC for power roars by. I decided to film at the KFC, because of better lighting. It's been a long time since I had last filmed a VAPX unit train, but this one was unique. There are a couple of regular VAPX hoppers in the mix, but about 95% of the train is former David J. Joseph Company hoppers. You can still see the "DJJ" logo in the middle. The cars were sublettered VAPX, however. For people who don't know, VAPX stands for "Virginia Power." Apparently these hoppers are going to a Virginia Power plant to be reloaded with coal. In addition, this was our 12th train that day! This was an awesome catch and a great way to end the day! <br /><br />Recorded 3.21.2009
