A man has died after being hit by a bus on Great Western Road.<br /><br />The 65-year-old pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin have been informed. <br /><br />The incident occurred in Glasgow’s West End near the Horselethill junction. <br /><br />Next, those travelling between Glasgow and Edinburgh by train between 29 January and 1 February may face disruption as safety work along the line is underway. <br /><br />Scotrail have advised passengers to plan ahead on routes and only travel if necessary as there is reduced capacity on services, longer journey times and replacement bus services. <br /><br />And finally, three Glasgow restaurants have been names in SquareMeal’s top 100 list for food and drink across the UK, celebrating the top dining spots.<br /><br />These include Celentano’s on Cathedral Square, Cali Brunch on Great Western Road, and Big Counter in Pollokshields.
