This really blew my mind. Remember the TNG episode The Survivors 3x03?
Rishon lost his wife due to the planets surface being destroyed by an enemy.
He lives beyond the physical so he recreates the house and his wife. The symbolism of a music box of a woman dancing is extremely powerful in this episode and haunted Troi. The composers and audio effects crew did an amazing job. Ron Jones?

But you don't know the half of it.
The actor who played Rishon had recently lost his wife in real life before this project (see IMDb trivia https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0708823/trivia?ref_=ttsnd_ql_1).

And, 14 years before this episode (1975), there was an episode ("Haunted House") of Little House on the Prairie where his character believed his wife, a dancer was still alive and he was obsessed with music boxes. I came across it yesterday and my brain started smoking. There is a scene where he is in denial, goes into a room filled with music boxes and begins engaging ALL of them and yelling at Mary Ingalls.

I don't know how this came about but it's very powerful.
I believe it's a huge coincidence.. TNG crew had no idea about that Prairie episode.
