On Wednesday's episode of Up & Adams, Kay Adams noticed a lot of NFL players were wearing undershirts beneath their jerseys.

Adams was confused by the fashion trend, as the shirts stick out from under the jersey and can easily be tugged on.

"What is the deal with these undershirts that players are wearing more and more underneath the jerseys?" Adams said.

"I feel very much like an old man yelling at a cloud about this but they completely go over their pants.

Adams pointed out specific players like Deebo Samuel and Puka Nacua who have shirts hanging well below their waists.

"For reference, we have a bunch of players that do this. Deebo, see that shirt there? Puka, Cooper Kupp rocking this look. It's the t-shirt under the jersey," Adams said.

"Is this a stylistic aesthetic choice? Is there a practical reason for this? I'm asking everyone."

Adams thinks the design choice is a disadvantage to offensive players as it gives defenders something else to grab when they're trying to tackle.

"You're sort of giving the defense more things to grab," Adams said.

"The only reason I noticed this was because Jameson Williams almost got pulled down this weekend.

"What are we doing? We've seen this! Players like Dallas Goedert, and David Montgomery, have had to break out of their shirts in the past."

NFL fans in the comments gave their reasons as to why players could be sporting the new style on the field.

"Bryce Young does it all the time. It's called drip," one fan said.

"The undershirt is necessary because the pads rub on the skin and cause rashes. I think it’s just a comfort thing when it comes to tucking the shirts in or not," another fan said.

"Jersey rubbing on skin with sweat is no bueno. Same with shoulder pads. The fabric helps avoid rug burn," a third fan said.
