Carnival was opened in downtown Port of Spain seeing a King and Queen of J’ouvert crowned.<br /><br />As reporter Alicia Boucher tells us, Mayor Chinua Alleyne believes this event should take centre stage but admits there's room for improvement, as J’ouvert has been seeing fewer and fewer spectators.
