A supermarket shopper had a love-ly surprise after finding a heart-shaped POTATO in a bag of Tesco spuds on Valentine's weekend.<br /><br />Daisy Reynolds, 56, did her regular weekly food shop at her local branch in Walsall, West Mids., and picked up the last bag of Tesco King Edwards potatoes.<br /><br />Upon opening them when she returned home on Saturday (10/2), she was shocked to find a perfectly formed heart-shaped spud amongst them.<br /><br />Daisy has now decided to save the potato to eat with her partner Andy on Valentine's Day tomorrow (14/2).<br /><br />Daisy, of Bloxwich, Walsall, said: "I just opened the bag and there it was.<br /><br />"We had been to do our Saturday shop, get some potatoes, and that was the only bag left of King Edwards, so I thought 'I'll have that', because I normally have red ones.<br /><br />"I opened it up and that was the first one I put my hand on.<br /><br />"I was quite surprised to find it, I just thought it was quite nice leading up to Valentines Day. It was a bit of a coincidence.<br /><br />"At first, I didn't really want to use it because it looks so nice and quirky. <br /><br />"I thought I'd keep it and take some photos, because I've never found a heart shaped vegetable before."<br /><br />Her Valentine's Day plans will involve cooking herself and Andy a romantic meal of steak and homemade chips – made using her special love-heart potato.<br /><br />Daisy added: "Andy and I enjoy a steak and homemade chips, so I will be using the potato for our Valentine's Day meal."<br /><br />The bag of King Edwards potatoes were farmed by Mike Wilkinson in Kent.
