"Doin' The Racoon"<br /><br />Jesse Stafford & His Orchestra<br /><br />1929<br /><br />Song by Raymond Klages & J.Fred Coots<br /><br />Jesse Stafford took over the leadership of this music ensemble after the death of Herb Wiedoeft, a fine trumpet player and band leader who died tragically on May 12, 1928.<br /><br />Wiedoeft was in a car accident in Medford, Oregon. His car skidded off the Medford-Klamath Falls highway.
