A clever pooch prevented a potential house fire by unplugging a cable that had burst into flames. <br /><br />Heibao the dog was alone at home in Hougangtoucun village in China's Henan province on February 6 when it saved the day.<br /> <br />CCTV shows Heibao, Belgian malinois, spotting what appears to be start of an electrical fire worryingly close to a piece of fabric.<br /><br />Without hesitation, the clever pooch jumps into action and yanks the cable unplugged, preventing a potential disaster.<br /><br />When owner Hao Zhipeng returned he thought Heibao had simply chewed the cable, only realising what happened after watching the tape.
