The Welsh leg of the covid inquiry has begun in Cardiff, which will look into decisions made during the pandemic here in Wales. The chair Barronness Hallett acknowledged there was a call for a Wales specific inquiry in her opening statement, but said the inquiry would do its best to fully and fairly investigate what happened in Wales.<br /><br />Charlotte Church has denied being anti-Semitic after leading a choir in a pro-Palestinian song at a concert. She performed a rendition of From the River to the Sea, which some say is anti-Israeli, but other have said it is a Palestinian freedom song. She said chants were calling on coexstinence between Israel and Palestine.<br /><br />Rhian Wilkinson has been named as the new manager for the Wales women’s national team, replacing Gemma Grainger’s who quit to manage Norway. The 41 year old who has a Welsh mother and lived here for 18 months as a child, made 183 caps for her native Canada winning 2 Olympic bronze medals.
