FRENCH TOAST RECIPE<br /><br />INGREDIENTS<br />2 eggs <br />2 tbsp sugar <br />1/2 cup milk<br />1 tsp vanilla essence <br />Pinch of salt <br />Pinch of pepper<br />1 small baguette <br />2 tbsp oil <br />2 tbsp butter<br />Brown sugar<br /><br /><br />PROCEDURE <br />In a bowl whisk together the eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla, salt and pepper. <br />Slice up the baguette and place the slices in a dish. <br />Soak the bread in the egg mixture. <br />Heat up the oil in a frying pan. <br />Place the bread in a frying pan and sprinkle the brown sugar on top. <br />Once golden at the bottom, flip it over and fry the other side. Don’t forget to sprinkle more brown sugar. <br />Plate it up, and dust with icing sugar and toppings of your choice.
