The Oriel y Parc Dragon Parade in the tiny Pembrokeshire city of St Davids started in sunshine and ended in a downpour but had a lot of fun along the way!<br /><br />The crowd gathered at the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park attraction on Saturday, March 2 decided to call the baby dragon Dewi, after Dewi Sant (Saint David), patron saint of Wales in whose honour March 1 is declared St David’s Day. <br /><br />Artist Kate Evans worked with the schools to make the parade dragon and the giant dragon egg.<br /><br />The schools and groups who took part in the parade were:<br />- Care in the Community, St Davids with artist Elly Morgan;<br />- Ysgol Denrhyn Dewi, Year 2 and Year 4;<br />- Ysgol Ger y Llan, Letterston, Year 3/4;<br />- Holy Name Catholic Primary School, Fishguard, Reception;<br />- Cylch Meithrin, Croesgoch Playgroup.
