A great white shark had to be euthanised after being washed up on a beach in Australia. <br /><br />A video shows the four-meter-long shark thrashing along the shore in the shallow water near Kingscliff beach on the Tweed coast in New South Wales. <br /><br />Lifeguards had been tracking its movements until it beached itself on Monday.<br /><br />A veterinary squad from Sea World on the Gold Coast were soon called to the scene and found the shark struggling.<br /><br />The shark was then sadly euthanised and a bulldozer was brought in to safely move it off the sand.
