FORMER Chelsea star Frank Sinclair was left red-faced after a run-in with a punching machine.<br /><br />The 52-year-old went out in Blackpool for Mother's Day.<br /><br />While on the pier, Sinclair decided to have a go on the punching machine.<br /><br />As a former athlete, the ex-Jamaica international would have fancied his chances at a good score.<br /><br />His efforts didn't quite go to plan, as he endured a moment to forget.<br /><br />After connecting with the punching bag, Sinclair slipped on the wet wooden floor.<br /><br />Having fallen over, the former Stamford Bridge hero smiled sheepishly at the camera.<br /><br />Posting his unfortunate moment to social media, Sinclair wrote: "Blackpool hasn’t quite gone to plan, but happy Mother’s Day all you knock-out mums doing your thing."<br /><br />Former West Ham stars Nigel Quashie and Carlton Cole both replied with laughing emojis.<br /><br />And Sinclair's ex-team-mate Paul Canoville added: "Too much power Frank - a knockout."<br /><br />Plenty of fans were also left in hysterics.<br /><br />One wrote: "Brilliant Frank…! Have a great day.."<br /><br />While a second commented: "Quality Frank."<br /><br />A third joked: "Get to the bowling alley Frank!!"<br /><br />And another added: "VAR review Frank…."<br /><br />Sinclair played 205 times for Chelsea between 1990 and 1998 - winning an FA Cup, League Cup, and Uefa Cup Winners' Cup with the Blues.<br /><br />He went on to represent West Brom, Leicester, and Burnley - and also earned 28 caps for his country.<br />
