Farnham station level crossing is expected to remain closed until Saturday (March 16) after a skip lorry crashed into the barriers.<br />The crash caused chaos on road and rail in the morning rush-hour last Thursday (March 7), with several trains cancelled and motorists forced to detour.<br />Train services quickly resumed. But the level crossing has remained closed to traffic as repairs are undertaken by Network Rail.<br />It is understood the repairs have been held up by delays obtaining a replacement level crossing boom.
