A woman battling infertility and undergoing an operation to fall pregnant had the procedure suddenly halted by medics - who told her she was expecting.<br /><br />Morgan Allen, 28, and her husband, Kyle, 33, a business owner, had tried to conceive for a year when she decided to undergo a laparoscopy in July 2020.<br /><br />The surgery was due to remove endometriosis - tissue similar to the lining of the womb growing in other places such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes - that Morgan had been diagnosed with years earlier.<br /><br />But as she was getting ready to head into theatre, her doctor sprinted into the room and told the nurses to stop prepping her. <br /><br />The doctor said pre-surgery tests revealed Morgan had fallen pregnant naturally and didn't need to go through with the procedure after all.
