A video shows a pelican using an ingenious hunting technique to catch fish.<br /><br />The video, filmed in Sichuan, China, shows the huge bird poised still on a rock with its beak spread wide open in the water, waiting for its prey to swim into its mouth.<br /><br />It only takes a few seconds before a fish swims directly swims into the pelican's mouth. <br /><br />Satisfied with its catch, the pelican tips its head back and swallows the fish whole.<br /><br />The video was filmed on February 16.
