In 2006 about 30 of us ran from Alcatraz California all the way to Washington DC under the guidance of Dennis J. Banks from the American Indian Movement. The whole troup ran more than 8000 miles all together. We ran with 1 message! Bringing it from one reservation to the other, one little town to another until we reached the Lincoln memorial in DC: ALL LIFE IS SACRED!
