The National Security Minister says the Police Service has indeed been taking note of the recent reports of criminal elements demanding protection money from business owners.<br /><br />Fitzgerald Hinds says the Police Service, in collaboration with the Defence Force has undertaken several covert and overt operations to address the issue.<br /><br />He was responding to a question posed by an Opposition MP in the House of Representatives.<br /><br />Juhel Browne reports.
