The Senate will debate the amendments to the Property Tax Act next Monday following the passage of the bill in the House of Representatives on Monday night.<br /><br />In winding up the debate, the Finance Minister spoke of the possibility of a complete or partial waiver of the property tax to those who inherit properties and can show they are in a similar impoverished state as the previous owners who had a deferral of the tax.<br /><br />Juhel Browne reports.
