Luke Dorsett lost his life Dreamworld's Thunder River Rapids ride malfunctioned in October 2016, but before he fell to his death he managed to save his niece's life. <br /><br />In November 2018, when Hassan Khalif Shire Ali threw Melbourne's Bourke Street into terror, passersby Jeferey Reid-Payne and Lei Zhang ran in to protect the wounded and fend off the attacker. <br /><br />
