Shocking video shows egg-sized hailstones smashing through a car windscreen in eastern China. <br /><br />The city of Yiwu in Zhejiang Province was battered by a severe storm on Monday bringing large hailstones measuring up to two inches.<br /><br />The local weather office issued a red alert, the highest in its colour-coded alert system.<br /><br />Residents across the city recorded the freak incident and car being pelted by the large hailstones.<br /><br />According to local reports, it is estimated that the insurance industry will pay more than £10m to vehicle owners involved in this incident.
