Coastguard helicopter spotted hovering over South Pier following reports 'man had entered sea'

Lifeboat crews were called following reports a man had entered the sea near South Pier at around 4.30pm on Saturday.<br /><br />Reports of the casualty being found safe and well inland were later confirmed by the police.
