Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck took a nasty tumble while celebrating the club reaching the Champions League final - but luckily the German appeared to walk away unscathed as he laughed off the fall.

The Bundesliga side toasted to a famous win over PSG, securing a 2-0 victory on aggregate across two legs as the brilliant team kept a clean sheet home and away before being seen dancing around the pitch after booking their spot in the final at Wembley in June.

Players were seen jumping up and down on a podium towards the edge of the pitch and an excited Schlotterbeck approached his team-mates as he attempted to join them.

But as the 24-year-old attempted to jump on the block to get involved with the celebrations, he lost his footing and slipped - falling awkwardly as he hit the podium before landing on his back.

Schlotterbeck initially looked in pain before rolling his knees up and being helped to his feet by team-mate and ex-Liverpool star Emre Can.

The player then laughed it off and signaled that he was OK before raising his arms towards the delirious supporters.

Schlotterbeck played the full 90 minutes at the Parc des Princes and put in a sterling performance as he helped keep a clean sheet for his team and he became an instrumental part of keeping Kylian Mbappe and Co quiet.

The defender has been a huge part of Dortmund's season, starting 30 Bundesliga games - plus a further ten in the Champions League - and scoring two goals.

His team has had a disappointing year in the Bundesliga, currently in fifth place and battling to win a place in the Champions League next season. They are three points off fourth-placed RB Leipzig.

However, for now, they won't care about their struggles in the league after their incredible run to the final.

The crazy celebrations continued in the dressing room - led by Man United flop Jadon Sancho, who has become a player reborn in Germany.

In a video shared to Instagram by the official Borussia Dortmund account, Sancho can be seen carrying a large speaker as the rest of the squad watch on, singing along to Adele's Someone Like You.

The squad is in full voice, with some too tired to stand and others taking a breather and taking on various refreshments.

The video then cuts, and Sancho can be seen stepping up onto the table in the middle of the room, speaker still in hand, his phone in the other.

He can be seen regularly walking around the table, embracing his teammates, and reaching to the skies as he continues to belt out Adele's hit.

The 24-year-old's current teammates can be seen laughing and filming Sancho's antics as they see the funny side of the midfielder's performance.

After the game, manager Edin Terzic hailed his side's 'incredible' route to the final as the underdogs.

"The belief in the final was already there early on. We spoke about it for the first time before the first leg in Eindhoven. The faces looked a bit baffled when I said that the route to London was short.
