A group of San Fernando Carnival bandleaders are calling for a meeting with the carnival committee of the San Fernando City Corporation to discuss pressing issues.<br /><br />Chief among them, the delay in the payment of prize monies and what appears to be a marked decrease in the amount given compared to past years.<br /><br />Our reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh attended a press conference called by the recently formed South Carnival Bands and Cultural Association on Friday and tells us more.
