In this game show/panel show, four celebrity panelists and the audience are presented with three contestants (a team of challengers). The panelists and audience must identify and determine which of these individuals is the "central character", whose career or experience has been described by the affidavit read out by host O'Hurley. The challengers would win $1,000 for each incorrect guess of the identity, with a jackpot of $5,000 ($10,000 in some episodes) if the team of challengers fooled all four panelists and audience.
