UN halts all food distribution in Rafah due to lack of supplies<br /><br />The United Nations suspends food distribution in the southern Gaza city of Rafah on May 20, 2024 due to a lack of supplies and an untenable security situation caused by Israel’s expanding military operation. The UN warned that humanitarian operations across the territory were nearing collapse.
