Combining this with Mica's jumping and gliding abilities creates a platforming experience like no other! Mica must time their jumps and angle the blade to overcome challenges and traverse a mystical world, meeting several wacky mushrooms and growing the sword to comical lengths along the way.<br /><br />The main mechanic was inspired by games like Getting Over It with Bennet Foddy and Deepest Sword. However, we plan to take this feature in a new direction focusing on a longer experience that is more accessible to encourage mastery of the mechanic so that the game is challenging but not rage inducing.<br /><br />As for the art style and atmosphere of the game we take heavy inspiration from games like Hollow Knight and Owlboy.
