ISI GABSA killed a bird with her tee shot in a horrific moment at the US Women's Open.<br /><br />The German golfer hit her shot on the par three 12th hole and hit the green.<br /><br />However, it was not the only thing the ball hit as it struck a bird on the green before landing.<br /><br />The ball continued to roll along the green while the bird's lifeless body remained still.<br /><br />An official was called into action to deal with the bird.<br /><br />He gently picked up the body and carried it away.<br /><br />Fans were left in shock on social media as they reacted to a clip of the moment.<br /><br />One posted: "YIKES - talk about wrong place, wrong time."<br /><br />A second wrote: "This is horrible. But not her fault."<br /><br />A third commented: "Ain’t no way."<br /><br />A fourth joked: "One might call that shot a... birdie."<br /><br />A fifth said: "What are the chances."<br /><br />Another added: "Gives new meaning to getting a birdie!"<br /><br />Gabsa managed to finish the hole with a two-put finish to get par.<br /><br />It was not the only dramatic moment at the Lancaster Country Club.<br /><br />Fellow golfer Nelly Korda scored 10 on a par three after hitting the water thrice.<br /><br />The world No.1 was playing on the same hole that saw the bird die.<br /><br />However, she struggled to hit her best form as she finished with a septuple bogey.
