A kite surfer stranded on a beach was rescued after he used rocks to spell "HELP."<br /><br />The man was spotted on a beach south of Davenport, California, USA, by a private helicopter who then called for help.<br /><br />Video shows the man being airlifted and brought to safety.<br /><br />The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection's San Mateo and Santa Cruz unit said on Twitter: "A kite surfer was rescued off a beach south of Davenport Landing after being stranded. <br /><br />"He used rocks on the beach to spell out the word 'HELP'."
