Surah Al-Kausar is the 108th chapter of the Quran, and is considered one of the shortest and most profound chapters in the Holy Book. It is a Makkan surah, revealed in Mecca, and is known for its beauty and depth.<br /><br />The surah is a revelation from Allah (SWT) to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), comforting him and the believers in the face of persecution and hardship. It is a promise of abundance and prosperity, both in this life and the Hereafter.<br /><br />The surah reads:<br /><br />"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.<br /><br />1. Verily, We have given you (O Muhammad) the abundance (of the fountain of Kausar).<br /><br />2. So pray to your Lord, and sacrifice (to Him alone).<br /><br />3.
