A baby elephant was rescued after it became stuck in a water channel in India.<br /><br />Anti-poaching rangers were patrolling the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve in the Nilgiri district on June 23 when they heard the baby elephant <br /><br />Following the noise, the rangers found the elephant cub, which was no more than a few days old, stuck in the water channel. <br /><br />Footage shows six forest department officials pulling the baby elephant out of the water channel and, after much effort, freeing it.
