Sunbathers in Saundersfoot and on nearby beaches had a very up close and personal visit by a Chinook CH47 military helicopter this afternoon (June 26) - as it headed over the harbour and shores of the seaside village!<br />On one of the hottest days of the year, with plenty of people taking to the beaches and sea - Saundersfoot Harbour commision shared a video of the helicopter flying by the Marine Centre at the harbour, stating: “Sound is essential - it sounds awesome.”<br />Nearby beach-goers and those on the coastal line were quick to share their own videos of the helicopter heading over the sands they were on, including Louise Jones, at Coppet Hall; Julie Niblett at Wisemans Bridge; and Adrian Johns.<br />One person commenting, laughed: “I bet that woke a few people up!”<br /><br />Videos: ©Saundersfoot Harbour<br />© Louise Jones <br />© Julie Niblett<br />© Adrian Johns<br />
