England's penalty hero again.'<br /><br />One factor that perhaps contributed to the win was that Pickford did his homework as his water bottle had a list of Switzerland players and where they usually place their penalties. <br /><br />Pickford guessed right with Akanji, who struck a poor penalty which the goalkeeper was able to take advantage of.<br /><br />England was perfect from the spot meanwhile, as Cole Palmer, Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka, Ivan Toney, and Trent Alexander-Arnold left Yann Sommer no chance with their spot-kicks.
