Yeh ek mashhoor Pakistani dish hai jise garam garam naan ke saath serve k<br /><br />Ingredients:<br />- 500 grams beef, bone-in<br />- 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)<br />- 2 onions, finely sliced<br />- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste<br />- 2 tablespoons Nihari masala<br />- 1 teaspoon red chili powder<br />- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder<br />- Salt to taste<br />- 6 cups water<br />- 2 tablespoons wheat flour (optional, for thickening)<br />- Fresh coriander leaves and ginger slices for garnish<br />- Lemon wedges for serving<br /><br />Instructions:<br />1. Heat ghee in a large pot and add sliced onions. Fry until golden brown.<br />2. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.<br />3. Add beef and cook until it changes color.<br />4. Add Nihari masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.<br />5. Pour in water and bring it to a boil. Then, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Let it simmer for about 4-5 hours until the meat is tender and the flavors are well developed. You can also use a pressure cooker to reduce the cooking time.<br />6. If you prefer a thicker gravy, mix wheat flour with some water to make a smooth paste. Add this paste to the simmering Nihari and cook for another 30 minutes.<br />7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and ginger slices.<br />8.
