A couple with a 37-year age gap have revealed the gender of their first baby together.<br /><br />Gran-of-18 Cheryl, 64, and her husband, Quran McCain, 26, met at a gas station in November 2020, when he was 23 and the pair hit it off.<br /><br />Quran proposed to Cheryl on July 31, 2021, and the pair tied the knot in a small ceremony surrounded by two friends in September 2021.<br /><br />The happy coupe found out they were expecting their first baby together via surrogate in April 2024.<br /><br />On July 7, 2024, Cheryl and Quran celebrated their gender reveal with their closest friends and family - finding out that they are expecting a girl.<br /><br />Cheryl, a social media influencer, from Rome, Georgia, US, said: "I will now have four daughters - I am so excited, I am amazed.<br /><br />"I am loving it, I can't wait. <br /><br />"I feel like I am back in my 20s waiting to have my first child.<br /><br />"I don't have any regrets and I can't until she gets here."<br /><br />In November 2020, Cheryl and Quran met at a gas station whilst he was 23 - and started talking about Cheryl's TikTok.<br /><br />Quran complimented her TikTok and asked why she had been crying.<br /><br />Cheryl said: "I explained about my TikTok video and showed him when he asked to see it – and he was very complimentary."<br /><br />Cheryl and Quran would meet up twice a week to record content together and Quran told Cheryl how he was catching feelings.<br /><br />Cheryl revealed how she was feeling the same and the pair started an intimate relationship in April 2021.<br /><br />The pair said how the age gap wasn't a problem between them but Cheryl's children weren't impressed.<br /><br />Cheryl said: "I have seven kids but I only see one of them as the others do not support our relationship.<br /><br />"It hurts me, it hurts me a lot.<br /><br />"They were my whole life and all of a sudden I wanted to be married to someone I had fallen in love with and they didn't support that.<br /><br />"I have 18 grandchildren and I only see three of them."<br /><br />Quran proposed to Cheryl on July 31, 2021, and the pair tied the knot in a small ceremony surrounded by two friends in September 2021.<br /><br />Cheryl said: "We didn't invite anyone to the wedding as nobody was there for us.<br /><br />"It was me, him and our two friends.<br /><br />"We left everyone out and we were happy."<br /><br />Quran said: "It made the day very special for us.<br /><br />"We get a lot of negative comments and we don't care about them.<br /><br />"We didn't make it this far caring about what people think about us.<br /><br />"To keep ourselves happy we stay off the internet - we don't need that negativity."<br /><br />In August 2022, the newlyweds started hunting for a surrogate.<br /><br />Unfortunately, three surrogates were unsuccessful and the couple were starting to lose hope.<br /><br />Quran said: "We went through a lot of emotional stress.<br /><br />"It messed with our sexual love life, I had to save my sperm for the surrogate and we started missing each other's needs.<br /><br />"We have started working on that now.<br /><br />"As soon as we stopped the surrogacy journey we reconnected romantically."
