Residents have blasted developers after paying £550,000 to live on a "desolate" newbuild estate which remains unfinished - FIVE years after people moved in.<br /><br />Homeowners began moving into brand new modern homes on the multimillion pound Lilly Hay estate in Emstrey, Shrops., back in 2019. <br /><br />But they say it has been besieged with problems ever since due to uncompleted work which has left people feeling like they are "living on a building site."<br /><br />Many of the roads and pavements have been left unfinished resulting in massive potholes lining the streets, which are damaging people's cars.
