Woke up this morning<br />In a patch of sunlight at the end of the bed<br />Woke up my human<br />By sticking my bottom on the top of her head<br />But she didn’t mind, But she didn’t mind<br />This time, I wondered why<br /><br />But then I saw her reach to the top of the closet where she<br />Keeps this thing she puts me in<br />When we go out<br />It scares me half to death<br />We go bump in the car<br />And she doesn’t drive far<br />So I know it’s not a trip to see grandma<br />It dawns on me we’re going to the vet<br /><br />They’re singing oh no what ya gonna do<br />What ya gonna do when the vet gets you<br />Gonna check my weight my teeth my ears<br />My bum my vet's my biggest fear's the vet<br /><br />And the we get to<br />The waiting room<br />Where there’s a chorus of dogs<br />Ferrets snakes and frogs they’re singing<br /><br />They’re singing oh no what ya gonna do<br />What ya gonna do when the vet gets you<br />Gonna check my weight my teeth my ears<br />My bum my vet's my biggest fear's the vet
