Meet the rowdy pub parrot - who curses at customers, meows at dogs and shouts his favouirte word 'w*****' whenever it's quiet.<br /><br />The celebrity squawker named Frosty attracts visitors from all over the country hoping to be insulted and mocked by his foul-mouthed antics.<br /><br />The 19-year-old African grey parrot made his first appearance at the Vyvyan Arms Hotel in Camborne, Cornwall, at just 18 months old.<br /><br />Having lived with owner Scott Sowden, 57, for 17 and-a-half years to date, the cheeky parrot has now earned celebrity status amongst locals and vistors.<br /><br />Scott said: "Frosty was originally my mother's and was purchased from a local breeder here in Camborne. <br /><br />"She was allergic to the dust given off by Frosty and she gave him to us about 17 1/2 years ago. <br /><br />"His favourite word is ‘w***er', it's affectionate.<br /><br />“We had the Conservative club in the other week, 12 of them sat on tables next to him and he wouldn’t stop saying it."<br /><br />Frosty has built up his popularity through his 'cheeky' reputation - often making visitors laugh and attracting fans of all ages.<br /><br />Scott, who says he was once offered £3,000 for Frosty, explained: "He has visits randomly of people just coming in to say hello.<br /><br />"The locals and most residents love him.<br /><br />"Quite a few have wanted to buy him!<br /><br />"Frosty has a couple come in every Friday and sit with him and gives him treats and another couple comes in on Saturday's.<br /><br />"People just start laughing when he goes on one, especially when they hear him for the first time. <br /><br />"He will also take the micky out of you coughing and laughing."<br /><br />Frosty is well-loved by the hotel staff too, including Scott's wife, Billy, 55. The pair have been running the Vyvyan Arms for around 29 years.<br /><br />Billy was also the licensee and was a barmaid at the hotel before the couple took it on - and has been there for almost 38 years. <br /><br />The couple say their parrot's humour knows no bounds - as Scott explains how Frosty teases other animals and humans alike.<br /><br />He said: "We don't allow dogs in, but on the occasion we do Frosty doesn't really like them and he will torment them by meowing."<br /><br />Though Scott says many amusing memories come from times Frosty has not sworn - as he recalls<br /><br />"One night we had a duo band (Two for the Road) here and we had a back drop in front of Frosty. <br /><br />"They started up with their first number and stopped because of feedback, one of the guys, Andy, got down on his knees and started checking out the wires.<br /><br />"They started singing again and stopped again as there was more feedback - and then started singing again and they stopped again - while on his knees, Andy said there's nothing wrong with the wires.<br /><br />"Then we heard Frosty shreeked out just like feedback and that was the cause of it.<br /><br />"Everyone was in stitches."
