The design forgot to account for the river's existence!<br /><br />2. The Leaning Tower of A new cell phone tower in a city was installed with a noticeable lean, earning it the nickname "The Leaning Tower of It became a local landmark and joke.<br /><br />3. Sinking Building A newly constructed office building in a major city began sinking into the ground due to poor foundation design. Talk about a "sinking feeling <br /><br />4. The Great Pipe Fiasco A water main replacement project in a neighborhood ended up with pipes installed upside down. It was a "gushing" mistake!<br /><br />5. *The Road to Nowhere*: A new highway on-ramp was built, but it didn't actually connect to the highway. Commuters were left wondering where the road went.<br /><br />These engineering fails are quite amusing, but I'm sure the engineers involved weren't laughing at the time!
