IOC speak to Israeli delegation over death threats to athletes<br /><br />The IOC has spoken to Israel's National Olympic Committee after a number of its athletes received death threats, their NOC Relations Director told a press conference on Saturday, July 20.<br /><br />The ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine has heightened tensions at the Paris 2024 Olympics.<br /><br />"Threats happen to athletes on a regular basis," James Macleod told the media. "We do understand, obviously, the Israeli athletes are receiving more.
