The Lyceum Theatre's famous statue of the Roman messenger god Mercury was restored to the theatre dome in Sheffield after undergoing repairs and inspections.<br /><br />Affectionately nicknamed 'Freddie' the statue was hoisted back to the top of the theatre building on July 22, 2024, with a number of people stopping to watch and take photographs.
