PANEER AND PEAS PULAO<br />INGREDIENTS<br />WHOLE SPICES<br />A small piece of cinnamon stick broken into pieces<br />4 cloves<br />4 cardamom cloves<br />2 bay leaves<br />OTHER INGREDIENTS<br />200 grams of paneer cut into small cubes<br />2 to 3 tablespoons of cooking oil or ghee (clarified butter)<br />1 medium onion thinly sliced<br />¾ to 1 teaspoon of lemon juice<br />1 teaspoon of garam masala<br />1 tablespoon of dried fenugreek leaves(Kasoori methi) gently crushed with your finger tips<br />1 and a ½ cup of basmati rice, washed well, soaked for ½ an hour and drained( measured in a 250 ml cup)<br />½ cup of green peas( measured in a 250 ml cup)<br />5 garlic cloves<br />3 to 4 green chilies<br />A small piece of ginger( say 3.5 centimeters) <br />3 and a ½ to 4 cups of water measured in a 250 ml cup<br />Salt to taste<br /><br /><br />
