We are the three proffessionals (coined the Naked Bin Bag Pomms) that are currently circumnavigating Australia without any money. We began in Brisbane last September and have been travelling for the last seven months anti-cockwise around Australia. So far we have covered a distance of 20,000km, raised over $20,000 and have been existing without spending any money, not for food, water, fuel or anything at all. <br />Why are we called the Naked Bin Bag Pomms? Because we started the journey by giving up all our possessions : our homes; car; wallets; clothes; even shoes in Brisbane and we donned a bin bag each to hide our shame. <br /><br />We raise our money by doing many wierd, wonderful and mostly very dirty jobs around Australia and donate every single cent we earn to the child literacy charity Book Aid International. We have to rely on the kindness of Australian strangers to provide us with food, clothing, accomodation, our vehicle and fuel, in fact for everything we need to survive.
