Footage shows communities underwater after Hurricane Debby swept across Florida.<br /><br />The video shows the community of Colonial Oaks in Sarasota, Florida suffering the after effects of the extreme weather which killed at least five people.<br /><br />The hurricane slammed into Florida at 11am on August 4, 2024, before weakening to a tropical storm.<br /><br />After the storm hit, Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency for 61 counties across the state.
