There's a new addition at the Detroit Zoo: a critically endangered western lowland gorilla — the first ever born at the zoo.<br /><br />The Zoos says 26-year-old Bandia, a first-time mother, gave birth the morning of Thursday, August 8, 2024,and both mom and baby are doing well.
