Harris woos Palestinian supporters, calls for ceasefire<br /><br />US Vice President Kamala Harris addresses pro-Palestinian protesters at her Arizona rally on Aug. 9, telling them she respects their voices and also calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. The Uncommitted political group was organized to oppose President Joe Biden's staunch support for Israel's war, which has killed tens of thousands, displaced nearly 80 percent of Gaza's 2.3 million people and caused severe food shortages.
